The recruiter said that the bonus is 10 perc on offer letter but people typically get 15 perc minimum because of company performance. Is that true? Hows the work culture like? Are promotions easy and are there any good raises?
Worked there for a number of years. 10% sounds right and is about what I would expect.
The bonus was extraordinary last year - 175% for meets performance was what I got - higher performers got higher bonuses. The year before was abysmal and close to target. Promotions are few far and in between, raises are standard, nothing to write home about. The culture will depend on the team, some are better than others - overall Visa tends to be a bit more rigid and process heavy than many companies.
Read it like this - 10% means u can easily make upto 17.5%. And if you turn out to be a high perform then expect 20%. The bonus structure are solid @ Visa. What group and title?
Your base cash bonus will be anywhere between 10% (fairly junior employee) to 25%. Depending on how you do/the company does, you can theoretically get up to 200% of your base bonus. Last year was a very good year, with the highest performers getting over 200% of base, and most people getting at least 150%. We’ve already been told by CEO to temper our expectations and not expect a repeat this year. For reference, the year before, the company average was 115% of base cash bonus.
Does Visa offer rsu's refresh every year ?
