I support regime change war against Iran, especially if done by a broad coalition of Sunni countries led by Saudi Arabia, European allies, and Israel who is constantly threatened by Iranian terrorism. Iran is the biggest threat to the world, and we’ve allowed their government to fund and support terrorism in the region for far too long. People are biased against “regime-change” wars because of Iraq and Afghanistan. But short sighted people forget that WWII was also a regime change war that changed Germany and Japan from genocidal regimes to relatively peaceful and productive countries. Iran is no different than pre-ww2 Germany, and I’d rather change its regime now before it acquires nuclear weapons (its leaders aren’t hiding their nuclear ambitions).
Oil is a declining commodity. If nothing is done to intervene, Iran business model will eventually transition from “using terrorism to prop-up oil prices” into “gives us economic aid or we’ll start selling nukes to whoever gives us cash”
Saudi just had their economy crippled by Iran or a peach and Israel just surrendered in a conflict against an Iranian proxy. There will be no coalition anywhere but on paper, and the war will end immediately when we lose our first aircraft carrier.
Or a proxy, not a peach

You cannot win a war against Iran, you can just burn middle east and all your allies there. Iran is not Iraq. Cannot be penetrated through ground invasion, you can only bomb from air. Will cost insane amount that might change U. S. Internally, maybe even a regime change. Europe wont support this. Saudi Arabia doesnt have the leadership to wage such war. Israel i dont know
Also Im pretty sure that you have no idea about the history of the region, who do you think forced a regime change on the democratically elected government of Iran in 1953? To protect oil interests?
Israel has been reduced to claiming that their wounded soldiers captured on video after a Hezbollah strike were only pretending because their public has such a low appetite for casualties. They will be no help against Iran
You should read up on how they got this regime in the first place. ;)
No more war, we're still recovering from the Iraq war, let the Saudis and Israelis defend their own interests
Appreciate the feedback Dara. I agree the strikes should be led by Israel and Saudi who have the real interest in eliminating Iran. Just saying the US should support them and back them up if necessary
Just sit back and watch. Stop policing
pretty sure we already tried regime change in iran... 1953.... read up on it. didnt go so well. i view iran as a check on sunni power in the region. note that shi'ia generally do not commit acts of terrorism. radical islam/terrorizing western powers is funded nearly exclusively from saudis, via madrasas and mosques throughout the world. i view anti-shi'ia sentiment as similar to anti-semitism. just bullies ganging up on others without real data or substance. america's corporate interests are embedded w saudi and that's why mainstream media is tilted so heavily against iran. pakistan is a far bigger threat. iranians/persians are highly educated, very smart people. and before america came and fucked everything up, it was a modernizing country.... women wearing miniskirts in the 60's just like anywhere else. we'd be better served by aligning w iran in the region over saudia. smart, business-minded, strategic access to afghanistan....
Lol Shi’ites don’t do terrorism? Ever heard of Hezbolla or maybe the Iranian government which supports Bashar al-Assad (responsible for the worst human rights atrocity of our time)? And no, most women in Iran weren’t wearing miniskirts in the 60s, those pictures are from the extreme westernized elite, not the majority of the population. Lastly, it was not the US but rather Iranians which brought Khomeini to power. Not sure how well that worked out for a highly educated and very smart people 🤔
It was the Iranians with their intransigent demands that they not be a us puppet state
I hope I can stop paying US taxes to support killing people on the other side of the planet
Would you have said that exact same statement in the 1940s?
Are you proposing that we invade the country with the Uighur genocide, or just that we kill poor people on behalf of a family who slaughters joirnalists
Lol your rhetoric is about 10 years too late.
I was saying the same thing about Iran 10 years ago when their president Achmedinijad was a former kidnapper terrorist in the Iranian US embassy hostage crisis
But it’s never too late. Their regime can be changed today and even in a year from now. Better to do it before they have nukes rather than after
I don’t think you’re qualified to support anything if you don’t understand the politics of the region. Better to keep your opinion to yourself than to beat the war drum
I understand the politics of the region quite deeply having lived in it for over a decade and studied the conflicts thoroughly. So you can dismiss my opinion as “beating the war drum,” but that doesn’t change the facts unfortunately.
Then it might be better to preface your opinion with your biases. Maybe say that it’s better for your country or your interests
