Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
The north east part of India is one the most remotest parts of India, less in terms of their distance from the capital but more in terms of the presence of the people or the culture in mainstream Indian life. They are very well represented in sports, military and to some extent in bureaucratic services as well, but not in popular media unfortunately. Ofcourse lately things are changing(in the works for decades) and the people from there are becoming more part of the mainstream zeitgeist. But treating the north east as a single entity does injustice to its rich culture across the many states and regions. And amongst them, arunachal pradesh is the remotest of regions. So when I came across a Rackspace job opening foe Itanagar, I was happily suprised and this fills me with hope for a resurgent NE. Who knew Rackspace would be leading with such a revolutionary idea! Unless I am living under a rock and Itanagar is already a tech hub, then I guess I learned something new.
Interesting! Thanks for sharing (friend needs to hear about this)
