What companies focus on iOS questions for interviews and minimal leetcode? I’ve heard Reddit and Lyft TC: 225K YOE: 8
So for phone screen I’ve always gotten a LC problem although it’s either LC easy or LC medium. For onsites there’s always at least one LC problem but usually also a project-based interview. I’ve gotten offers from LinkedIn, Uber, Paypal, and several startups that used this format.
How would you rank those companies in terms of leetcode focused vs standard iOS knowledge?
I think startups care less about LC. LinkedIn gave me an offer even though I bombed the binary tree LC problem (but the interviewer was not an iOS engineer). In all scenarios though I excelled in the iOS project problem and system design problems.
Square 🙌 They have a "choose your own adventure" type interview. Either: A) standard LC phone screen plus 2-3 coding rounds in the onsite Or B) take home project (small mobile app) then 2 rounds of adding features to it during the onsite (and no coding round...I cant remember, maybe there was 1)
When did you interview there?
