I am a current student of a top MBA program in europe. Previously I worked at corporate strategy in traditional industry and took teo internships at corporate strategy at tech forms. I am interested in working in tech in the valley. Any advice? Note: Do not have a US work visa.
There’s no such a thing as “top mba program in Europe “ if you’re coming to USA. All non us mba look the same to us. Whether it’s Luhansk polytechnic or lsb, it’s all the same. What makes mba top is simply not present: alumni network
H1B visa is a lottery. Doesn't give a fuck if you are from Wharton or LSB or Insead. You will need a company to file H1b for you in April and then wait till October to see if you got selected through the lottery and then got the Visa approved. Rather than spending time trying to get through this lottery that you can't control, spend time on getting a good job in Europe. Later on in life ask for internal company transfer to bank area if you are still interested.
Sorry, typos: *two *firm
Might plan to do a business analytic master if things do not go well. Doesn’t seem like a good idea though

Long shot - visa is tricky, would be an uphill battle even if you were in the US. Maybe better to join a well known tech company in Europe and then look for ways to shift over to the states.
