I just joined a big tech company 3 weeks ago. Now a recruiter has reached out from a FAANG company asking to interview for a lead sw engineer position, which is more senior role than the one I got. Should I tell the recruiter that I have just joined here but I am more interested in your position. Or should I leave that information out? Do they care ? Please advice I am confused what to do. Just go for it man You don’t need to bring it up since it’s irrelevant
Makes sense
My concer is background check. Not sure how they handle the last job. The company I joined asked for last pay stub souring background check since I told them not to contact current employer
If you are still up for interviewing hell, just go for it. Don’t tell them, it will just complicate stuff imho
Yes. Only if on visa when you are going on h1b transfer dk you reveal that only to lawyer. Bg check also truth. Recruiter and hm don't need to know shjt
Thanks for your input. No I am not on visa thank God, I wouldn't have been tolerate that extra stress
