Mind sharing which company? Pay among tech firms vary A LOT. But not low ball in general unless it’s from Google/Meta/ByteDance

iirc even certain IBs (not all) pay around 5.8k-6.5k. Google L3 is 7k I think it's ok, but definitely not lowball. There are worse. Does Rakuten offer equity though?

It's decent, but by looking at the number, it seems like the company gave you some room to negotiate for 6k :) Congrats on the offer!

This is okay level for a fresh graduates in Singapore. Not perfect, but good enough and definitely not a lowball.

I guess that 6.5, maybe 7 will be the absolute maximum for a fresh graduate here. And most likely only if a company doesn't need to move him across countries.
