Hey all, I am currently a L4 at AWS and recently interviewed for FIS(the fintech company), Seattle and was offered a Senior SWE position with a decent comp(base is probably higher compared to what I would make as an L5 at Amazon). Does anyone here have any idea about the work culture there and if it's worth moving jobs? Would there be a problem moving back to FAANG if my the new job doesn't work out? Join FIS and if you dont like then boomerang
The Seattle arm is still forming / morning and you have the opportunity to influence it. You'll probably find a lot of things you're comfortable with, but you will also see lots of areas where the tech needs to be upgraded or built out altogether
Going to have a interview with FIS. Could you share more about the interview process? And why they can offer you a senior level position for L4 at Amazon? Shouldn't it be SDE2 in FIS? Thanks!
Yes, if there is any update regarding interview process, that would be greatly appreciated
Look up FIS and GCTR
Hi OP, did you take the offer? If yes, mind if I DM?

Blind rating seems to be same for Amazon and FIS. Reading those reviews could be helpful. Note that finance companies do inflate positions. What is new TC?
