Great visibility in the industry, stock has done very well, you will learn how much inefficiency micromanagement creates.
10-14 hr work days, this spans engineering, sales, marketing, and BUs. No time away from work: expectation is for emails to be answered through 2 am, often asked to work during vacation/recharge-days/bereavement/medical-leave (I can name specific examples of each), too few resources at key roles causes business to stop when people are out. Meeting invites show up for 8am Saturday morning. Etc. etc. etc. No appreciation is shown for going above and beyond. Micromanagement and inconsistent management. Direction from leadership is constantly changing, often in a vacuum. Micromanagement is rampant at all levels and just gets passed down. Employees are not empowered to make decisions. Span of control is nonexistent. General disorganization. Everyone is running around working far too many hours. Amd is trying to move too fast at the expense of efficiency. This creates disorganization everywhere. Secondly everything is done via teams and employees personal one drive.
Given that NVIDIA is too high at the moment? Should I load some AMD stock to catch the AI wave ?

Lisa Su has been selling $8 million of stock every month. She’s been doing this for the last few years though. Last time she bought the stock was when it was $2.05 in 2012. Probably nothing since she owns $400mm plus. Anyone have further insights here? https://app.stockocean.com/company/amd #pe...Read more
