Can we reject the accepted offer saying RFE as reason
Accepted offer with amazon but h1 transfer in RFE. Frustrated with unresponsive nature of fragomen. It’s been two months and they still didn’t respond to RFE. Have another offer with similar TC Can I say am reneging the offer because of fragomen not handling the case properly? Will recruiter take that as escalation and try to move case faster ? Or does it look like blackmail and recruiter would just say ok for rejection?
Absolutely. It is a valid reason. Hiring manager is stupid, should be lighting fragoman’s ass. I lit their combined asses on fire for my hire. Made them scurry.
Even though other offer have similar TC am interested with amazon. But in want to give it a shot if rejection would escalate the case.
Do you want to take another offer and want to use RFE as an excuse, or do you want to escalate and get Fragomen to file docs sooner?
The other offer is not bad but am more inclined to amazon. But I want to use the other offer to escalate and make fragomen file sooner.
Then send email to Recruiter and also ask him that you want to have a call with HM or if you have his email then email him. Talk/mail to HM about this and ask for a way to escalate this. Good thing with Amazon is that you have a HM to bat for you unlike some companies with centralized hiring where you don't know HM untill after you join (looking at you fb, had a very bad experience with the unresponsive recruiter working with me).
Fragomen are a bunch of incompetent idiots
Amazon HR hiring team is a bunch of automated response drones. Escalate the fuck out of it and complain, then you'll finally get a human with common sense to help.
Yes. Usually fragoman handlers fool the poc from hr department who has no knowledge of how application process works and fragoman gives bs status update. I bet hr told you fragoman is working in fifo fashion to address other rfes. Incompetent fragoman 💯
Sent a rejection email with fragomen delay as reason. Recruiter was able to escalate and first time got real response from paralegal. Previously every time they used to sent template responses.

They didn’t file. but atleast gave a date that they will file in July 30
Given fragomen’s incompetence, i’d say do it! Recruiter might escalate to move it faster but mostly recruiters seem very ignorant of the real time that these things take. They just blindly believe what fragomen tells them.
