Coinbase bankruptcy likely, says expert. Get your crypto out of Coinbase and into your own wallet. https://coingape.com/coinbase-could-be-the-next-big-insolvency-expert-warns/
How is that possible? I thought they had billions in liquid cash?
That cash is burning fast
That's what Celsius depositers thought too. Crypto is the unregulated wild west, even though Coinbase itself is a publicly traded company. Trading volumes are in steep decline and it won't take long for them to run out of cash, or for some execs to run away with the cash.
Oh lol my micro bitcoin is gone I guess
its called a satoshi
really doubt it
People said the same thing about Celsius.
If you've ever looked at Coinbase's yield rewards you'd know how dumb of a take it is to compare to Celsius. Celsius was giving double digit rewards on a lot of different currencies. The only way to guarantee Celsius's rewards was to reinvest the customer funds, which is what they did. Celsius was levered against Luna and when it collapsed, so did Celsius and everyone that was over-lending to Celsius or betting with Celsius. Coinbase gives you rewards for staking and spending money, and the rates are shit.
I am a noob… I have bitcoins in Coinbase, what should I do? They did the process of giving me the bitcoin
Get your Bitcoins into your own wallet so that you don't lose it when Coinbase goes bankrupt. You cannot trust any of these centralized exchanges now. I cannot recommend which wallet to use though.
Google cold storage
Temporarily reducing marketing doesn't equate to bankruptcy lol. Almost every company will lower their marketing spend when the economy slows.
The peer to peer referral bonus is still there it seems like
Even withdrawal freezes start "temporarily". So better be safe than sorry. Nothing to lose and everything to gain by keeping your crypto in your own wallet.
There were lots of Cassandras who warned about the house of cards. Few listened. Good to know I’ve been vindicated.
Keep jacking off if it makes you feel better lol
What about $$ in Gemini?
I would move it to my own wallet, esp if you believe in crypto over the long term. Better be safe than sorry.
Amen to that. Please God please end this Ponzi scheme. 🙏
Their choice of font always kept me away
Uniform thickness-fication of fonts in logos are a thing now. It started mostly with German/Swiss companies. It is a world over thing now. Only exception among big companies is Mercedes Benz right now.
