I am attending the DE Shaw hiring drive for a Project Lead position in Bangalore. Could someone please provide detailed information about each round? Will there be a machine coding round? Just a advice: donโt come, work is pathetic here. You wonโt learn much here, same old school tech. And coming to pay part, itโs good only for people with yoe < 3, beyond this other companies pay way better than shaw. Their strategy is to capture freshies by paying good amount, and then saturate the pay after 2-3 years, and sometimes misuse it by paying less than industry standards. Iโll give you an example: (No stocks are provided, they just give some cash every end of year, which is 5 lacs for 4 years, rest is base and bonus) YOE 0 Base 28/25/22 depending on interview and college Bonus: 6/5 YOE 2 (smt) 35-50 depending on performance Bonus: 10-20 YOE 4 (project leader) 60-70 Bonus: 15-25
