Wife wants to pay but I feel weird. Parents are retired, kids need to be taken care of for weekdays What do you guys think?
Do you cover any of their expenses? Will you take care of them when they get old (not send them to nursing home?)
Now playing “Baghban”🍿
It's not like nursing home is free either...

Pay bills? Don’t make it look like a payment.
Back home we call it "Gift"
Would your parents accept money for taking care of their grandchildren?
Legally, if you pay anyone whatsoever to take care of your kids, you are liable for employer taxes (nanny taxes). Use care.com for their tax payment services. That being said, my cpa said: they’re your parents, it’s a monetary gift, irs won’t care so long as it’s your parents only.
No but I would certainly show appreciation in other ways
Yes. Pay them something so they will watch your kid, lol.
My parents would disown me if I attempted to pay them. YMMV, though.
Let’s not bring money between GPs and GCs
