Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
I am going to look for new opportunities and here are the pre-ipo companies I am interested. Can people comment on these companies or add more? Note that not all of them have SRE(Site Reliability Engineer) roles: SpaceX Stripe TikTok Neuralink Discord Reddit Instacart Databricks Plaid #startup #sre #sreinterview #devops
All of those have rich valuation. Limits your upside

SpaceX will not be remote, if that matters to you.
👋
These are way too mature and still probably overvalued on the private market. Well Neuralink isn't mature, that's just Musk grift.
Well, if the company is not mature, it’s just too much risk for the stock options. I think these mature pre-ipo companies are a good tradeoff.

How much does this company pay for sr. SRE? I am looking for 450-500k TC
Chronosphere's pretty good for SRE people and is doing well
Do they pay well?
Aren’t they in a very crowded space?
I doubt spaceX will IPO anytime soon
We do have unusually good liquidity for pre-ipo though. The bigger problem to me is we've had so many funding rounds I think it's pretty oversold at this point.
