Down 20% , how are u guys feeling. TC 320, 17 yoe. MSFT (110.36, 49.8% 1 yr )
Feeling shit, but it will probably go back up like did recover from 150 in 3 months
I m with you.
Nah the fundamentals are crushed.
Buy more if it goes to 160s. Lots of analysts reduced price target to 180s
Analysts are useless
Most analysts don't beat the market. Citron? They have a horrible record. Analysts also just follow hype and hope to be right.
Careful as many other companies have demolished MSFT. Stay humble as we aren’t doing that great!
$70 to $110 in a year is good to me. $110b+ quarterly revenue is great to me. Idk what part of Microsoft you're working in... Edit: not quarterly. Annually. Sorry brain fart
Ya ali
Hiring doubled. Wtf are they hiring so much for
Even I don’t get it. I get the recruiter call every other day for Product manager roles.
People are quitting!
Gdpr + fake news = fixing = hiring
One trick pony missed its trick
Said the company who uses AWS to keep all its other BUs afloat.
Lol isn't it same for apple and iPhone?
Real questions how that stocks could possibly grow in the first place? FB doesn’t produce anything, what that stocks backed with?
Cashflow...
Ad revenue. Taken from google’s revenue
10 yoe, 530k TC. how YOU feeling???
Lol my brotha, 6 yoe, 545K TC! How are you feeling? I don't even have a master, only bachelor. By the way I don't work at Microsoft anymore.
Can I join? 3 yoe, 600K TC! How are you feeling?
Problem: We are hiring at an ungodly pace. With operating margin under 40% it only makes sense to slow down hiring, plus the quality of a lot of the new hires is bleh. Quantity doesn't equal quality and the talent pool is tapped out. Earnings are tanking because we are hiring people we don't even need. This is the problem and I don't know why others aren't really talking about it. It's frustrating. Solution: 1.) Slow down hiring completely. 2.) Stop hiring people we do not need.
^ THIS!
Overhiring is definitely and issue.
Bringing their stock all the way back to where it was... 2 months ago 🙀
Yeah which is not much above where it was a year ago. Given the comparison to msft 1yr performance, I think that's more the point. Not what happened last night, but what has happened to FB this last year to stall growth almost entirely. Definitely not worthy of the FANG special status with annualized returns like this year.
