I took an interview with Verizon for a Cloud Security position. First, the hiring manager canceled my interview, then called me out of no where at 6.30pm on a long weekend Friday. He did not apologize for calling untimely. He just started asking me questions. I still kept my cool and began responding to his questions. I noticed, he was very sarcastic. When I did not know something, I was honest and said, âSorry, I donât have that expertise â. He passed a comment, âhow did your current employer hire you if donât know this?â I was offended by his comment and I said, âSir, letâs be professionalâ. And he just hung up immediately on me. Did I step over a line? Will Verizon blacklist me for any future positions, if I report the incident to the recruiter?
You did not step over a line, you dodged a red flag. Fuck that guy
I believe this : you should score 10/10 in any interview opportunity given. Will you face dicks? Yes. Should you make an attempt to get an offer in any situation? Yes. Get an offer and then tell the interviewer that u f%cked his mother
