Levels (US) 26 - Associate Sotware Eng 27 - Software Eng 28 - Sr Software Eng 29 - Lead Software Eng 30 - Director Software Eng
They geo-locate pay. Grade 28 is like $80-145k. Grade 29 is like $80-170k. Depends on where you live.
How do they decide the grade? And is there any permanent WFH option?
It depends what the role is posted as. Typically a senior role will be a 28. WFH should be mentioned in the role, it depends on the team mostly. People are spread all over.
