Getting an offer for 270k(base+bonus) plus 70k/4yr(RSU) for Salesforce enterprise architect position. YOE: 12 yrs. Is that a fair offer ?
You getting this offer from Salesforce?
Yeah, this is the current offer.
This looks like solid offer. I would say grab it!
Managing a team? Travel involved? This seems pretty on point IMO
Not managing team, but there is a good amount of travel involved to customer sites ~35%.
That’s a lot of travel. I work for an ISV and see a lot of burnout in those positions. That’s a good TC for a non management job- but I’d caution to have clear expectations on travel (no Sunday red eyes, no same day in and out for over an hour fly time, etc) and look hard at the work from home flexibility and PTO package to make sure that is manageable. Best of luck!
What location are you in? Is this offer 70/30 base and bonus or the 90/10 model? Is it principal (L8) or master (L9). Decent offer. I would take it. Any signing bonus?
Did you make a decision?
For an architect role? I thought architects were basically gods at SF. I would have expected more like 300/30%/600k over 4y and potentially a 30-40k signon.
No. Negotiate for more. If you already make more or have competing offers, it to make it easier.
