Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
Hey all, I’m a Senior Fullstack Engineer (backend focused) with 4 YOE, bored of the work I’m doing and would like to finally make the jump. I work mostly with Go, NodeJS/Typescript, Python, AWS, MongoDB, React and Postgres. I’ve led a lot of big projects here including fully designing and building out key infrastructural pieces used by several teams here. I’ve also built the entire frontend for a key app here and did some work in there that increased our YoY revenue by 20pct. Won’t give all the details as I want to stay somewhat anonymous. If it helps, I was able to pass Google HC in 2022 but never got team matched as I was in the process right before they did mass layoffs and dropped headcount; my recruiter got laid off during team match phase lol. I could’ve definitely done better during the interviews though and have been tightening up on that end. My main interest is Meta, but would be down for any big tech referral! My main interest is to learn more infrastructure by working on projects used by much more people. I don’t mind what team/project it’s for, I’m just ready to move away from working at a small scale media company. I feel like my opportunities to learn here have hit a cap. Thanks y’all! TC: 190K 4 yoe
DM for Meta
Can I DM for Meta please?
DM for salesforce
It sounds like you want to work on high impact, high visibility items. There’s many teams in Amazon which might be your interest. Not sure about your skills in Go and networking. This space heavily needs some developers as we primarily use Java. Seen new grads under this stack get promotion in 1 year as it’s high impact work. DM me the job listing, resume, full name, phone, address. If anyone is interested. Not looking to refer any interns, anyone looking for sponsorship or lottery job applications.

Thanks for all the responses y’all! Really appreciate it
Can you mention what kind of projects?
Not super comfortable with sharing specifics. My company is small enough that it would be easy to pin the work to me especially since these are relatively important pieces of infrastructure here. I’m happy to share my resume/linkedin though through DMs (as counterintuitive as that might sound). I understand there’s a risk in referring people you don’t know and I don’t mind if people don’t think I’m qualified for a referral from them; it’s a big ask and I’m a stranger. I do appreciate people reading this and reaching out even if it doesn’t lead to anything!
