I wanted to check communitys’ thoughts on Atlassian. have recently interviewed with them and soon might be getting an offer. - is atlassian innovative enough to sustain today’s competitive environments ? (I feel their only useful product is jira and i feel my company has better tools then it) -Arista is valued at 37 billion with 1 billion in quarterly revenue (latest), 300m in profits. So is atlassian with no profits (don’t know how it even makes sense)
Unless you are going to be joining as the CEO of the company, all of these questions are irrelevant. You will be paid top of the market for an SDE-2 or SDE-3 role in India and its a good place to be considering all factors. If you feel the company is starting to fail, you can always move on to another company. Most people don't stay at one place for more than 3-4 yrs, so why do these things matter anyway
Do people sell rsu’s as they vest? Wouldn’t it be painful to see your rsu go 1/10th? There are so many companies which have tanked more than that
@Atlassian what's the vesting cycle there? And cliff?
