Can anyone give some insight into what it’s like working at Lockheed? Any particular pros/cons? I just got an offer for a role in Marietta, GA Current base salary at NG: $130k with 5 YOE
u do nothing and get paid mediocrely
I worked there. I could tell you things, but honestly, I'm sure it all applies to Northrup and therefore wouldn't really be news to you. You work on interesting concepts. You feel patriotic or something. It's also really, really boring and doesn't pay very well.
Basically the same as NG. A lot of Space is on 4x10 so that’s nice.
YOE?
5 years
What business unit? Are you doing cyber type stuff?
Hmm I don’t know what business unit but it’s not cyber related
Horrible TC
YOE?

My daughter was an intern at NG and a FTE at Lockheed. Both companies treated her well and had excellent WLB. Pay for defense contractors is obviously lower than tech companies.
Buddy is at Raytheon - does dick all of work and makes ok, not great TC. He loves how chill it is
