Struggling with how to handle this. My boyfriend claims that he’s a liberal, but knowing that he supports the work of Peterson, who harbors such hateful views of marginalized people is just really hard to reconcile. What would you do?

Why do people view the world in Black and White? Is being "liberal" for the sake of being liberal the goal here? Do liberals have no mistakes at all? (The same applies to other parties of course). Secondly, similar to what others are saying here, what exactly about what Peterson said do you disagree with? Where and when did he show or demonstrate hatred of marginalized people?
