I don’t think any crypto exchange will report the transaction to IRS. In that case, is IRS even possible to track my gains?
I exchanged ETH for an altcoin using binance. In bitcoin.tax a transaction is either a buy or a sell. How should i calculate the tax on this transaction? I guess it's a Buy order with "first in first out" calculation (what does this term btw)
What exchange do you use to trade crypto Which has the lowest fee per transaction/transfer in fee/transfer out fee Quick easy access. Reliable
I bought some cryptocurrencies in crypto.com today, and noticed that they have a very large spread. What is the best exchange to buy crypto considering transaction fee + spread?
How can I spend $4000 in three months with Chase Sapphire Reserve card? Are there any churning hacks that's effective? Seems like I have to take a 2.5% transaction fee cut by, are there free/cheaper alternatives? Also how are the exchange rates, EUR GBP CAD?
Reasons being; - Drop in crypto transaction volume in general - Retail do not have the appetite to invest with these prices - No more stimulus injection to pump the market - more and more exchanges popping up as an alternative - customer service is not great (still better than binance though :)) -...Read more

I am planning to move back to India from US after a couple of years here now. I have saved a tiny fortune in my bank in these years and want to take that back with me. I tried to checkout different crypto exchanges. Binance appeared so below par. But I loved how clean website, app and overall interface of Galaxy is. Didn’t yet try coinbase. To those that have used Coinbase and Galaxy, is there anything that makes Coinbase or Galaxy superior in comparison to each ...Read more

How can people expect to transact BTC day to day? To me, this is why BTC will never be a viable "currency". People are telling me to sell it on an exchange, but being a hardcore libertarian I refuse to use exchanges, let alone put my PI and banking info on there. Semi relevant: If you live in the b...Read more
In 2018, I made some transactions with Coinbase to buy BTC with cash and then sent those BTCs to a few Crypto exchange wallets to trade for various altcoins to hold. Provide your take on what will you choose and why? Additional context: Transaction will actually happen on different exchanges. You do not control their timing and latencies. I feel like they've diluted their brand as a reliable, long-term public equity exchange (Edit: broker*). It would seem much more suitable if they played to the free-thinking audience in crypto markets. A roadblock I see is being able to maintain their commission-free stance if they did this. I assu...Read more
