- for the most part, smart and friendly coworkers and a relatively non toxic culture - CEO is a billionaire - the product is legit - I do not hate working here and have made many friends working here - free food that's pretty good, but you already knew that
- Very weak line management comprised of internal promotions that lean way too technical, to external hires who never end up understanding technical details - Compensation, benefits, and stock price continue to falter as our competitors and the market overall outwork us - The AI org is surprisingly bearish on AI, which bodes poorly for Asana's product vision - We are organizationally bad at giving upwards feedback, leading to weak line managers being promoted without having the requisite growth or impact
I have my OnSite interview with Asana (New York office) soon. Does anyone know what a potential offer could look like? I already checked "levels.fyi" but the information is pretty limited. YOE: 3.5 #asana #nyc

Cracked Google L4, Facebook E4, Microsoft (62), and Netflix (Senior SDE) easily and got decent offers. I failed in initial screening rounds in all start-up companies (~10) including Asana, Robinhood, Wish, Roblox, Snap and etc even though I believe I perform decently. Are they really that hard now? ...Read more
