Completely confused with the student protest situation

Never been this confused In fact so confused that I don’t even know what is considered “right” or “wrong” to say anymore.

Oh

Google nerdsunite Apr 23

there’s nothing confusing. People have had it with the genocide against the Palestinian people. Israel has gotten too comfortable and basically flaunting war crimes to the world and look where that has gotten them.

I had thought this is the mainstream view, but when I was watching the YouTube news videos, it seems a lot of people don’t think so.

Salesforce PillowFig Apr 23

It’s the other way around. People’ve had it with rabid antisemitism everywhere. Enough of terror orgs like Hamas (Iran’s proxy) constantly terrorizing its neighbor. Enough with the hypocrisy and terrorism sympathizing.

I thought east coast kids just want to camp out since they missed out on Coachella.

It’s religion, it isn’t supposed to be rational.

GenZ grew up pissed off. When they were tiny children, they watched tiny children like them get slaughtered by crazy people at Sandy Hook. They said "can you please stop selling machine guns to crazy people" and the boomers in charge said no, and made them spend the next 12 years practicing how to hide under desks from crazy people with machine guns. When they reached graduation age and they were once again slaughtered by crazy people with machine guns at Parkland, they once again stood up to demand we stop giving machine guns to crazy people. And they were once again demeaned and condescended to. They've inherited a world where the oceans catch fire and home ownership is literally unattainable. In their eyes, the world has abandoned them. And now they're watching elitists slaughter babies in Palestine, who remind them of the babies they used to be in Sandy Hook. Their empathy for Palestinians is overwhelming. And more importantly, after spending their entire formative years being completely ignored and dismissed by American propagandists and leadership ... now that leadership has no relevance to them. They don't CARE if Congress refuses to align with their demonstrations. They don't CARE what Israeli boomers have to say about them "sympathizing with Hamas". After years of being ignored by their supposed mentors, they're ignoring them right back. And it's really pissing the old people off. GenZ are punk as fuck and Israel needs to brace themselves for the inevitable fact that in a few short decades their massive welfare check is going to get cut off. Columbia, Yale, MIT and others are only in the news because the demonstrators are rich. There's just as loud of a demonstration from GenZ who can't afford Ivy League retail prices. American youth simply aren't falling for AIPAC propaganda, no matter how hard the old ass liberal sellouts like Michael Rappaport or Bill Maher yell about it.

“Gen z are punk as fuck” Yeah they all have the same ideologue as Wells Fargo and McDonald’s and msnbc. Being progressive is so punk rock 🤮

Young generation : Pro Palestine Older generation : Pro Israel

You are supposed to listen and do as your government tells you! Israel is our friend. Joe Biden is the smartest man alive, and a jew

It's simple. Freedom of speech in America stops at criticizing israel. Not only do we give israel 17bn$ on top of the yearly 4bn$ from taxpayer money. We have shut the f up or have our Life canceled if we say a word against Israel (a foreign govt).
