Pays nice, and probably what everyone will rave about. Allows remote work
- Career growth?? No. Just typical promotions - Tiers and tiers of management who should have never been a manager, all of them supply their opinions at different stages of production -Absolutely 0 work/life balance
It seems like everyone nowadays works at NVIDIA and benefits from Jensen and the stock. Everytime I see news of NVIDIA’s skyrocketing progress, I feel like shit, because I don’t benefit. And then I get super jealous, apply to some jobs on NVIDIA’s website, and always get rejected. How do non-NVIDI...Read more

I'm trying to get a job at "the best company to work for" and my contacts in Nvidia are telling me there's a hiring freeze for the next 6-9months. But I just applied online to a few TPM roles. Are those job listings on the Nvidia website bogus? #nvidiacareers #nvidia #ai #techcareer #referral
Full-stack SWE interviewing at NVIDIA. Whats the HM interview like? Mix of technical and behavioral? Recruiter just pointed me to a generic page on the website, so I have no clue what to expect. Any insight would be much appreciated! #nvidia

Hey folks, I’m looking to interview at Meta / Nvidia / Google for senior embedded SWE. Need help narrowing down resources for the interviews. Recruiters share generic SWE resources that’s almost never useful. Looking for a comprehensive list of books, websites, blogs etc. TC - 225k, 8YOE
What’s the deal with auto rejects from nvidia? I applied to relevant positions on the website but I got auto reject in two three days. The emails said I don’t have relevant experience which doesn’t make sense. Is there anyway to re apply for the jobs? And is this normal or genuinely something is w...Read more
Hello good folks of NVIDA, I do not like Apple’s vacation policy. It’s just 12 days the first 3 years and then it becomes min(15+(yoe-3), 22). Also getting 3 weeks off is very difficult, specially if it is before or after shutdown. NVIDIA seems to have “unlimited” vacation days, which is usually e...Read more
I have already applied to Nvidia in the past but I have never made past the initial resume screening (last time I applied my application status on their website was “Application in Review” before they removed the position from their website). I have AMD Ryzen 5600 CPU and Nvidia 3070 GPU, windows 10 Home. I am trying to download Cuda 11.6.2 from the NVidia website. The download link seems broken. Any idea how I can get CUDA on my machine? Thanks. TC: 140k + 🍌 YOE: 2
Hi, I am preparing for my internship for Spring/Summer 2022 and was wondering if there are any websites to do mock reviews for embedded / firmware engineer positions? #intel #apple #nvidia #qualcomm #amazon
Do you apply directly on website? Do you reach out to any recruiters on LinkedIn? Do you look up old contacts for a referral? What do you do? Looking at a few roles in Microsoft #microsoft #apple #nvidia #tech
Just got fired from my contract position, I am applying to Nvidia positions but I can't get past their ATS. I tried to redo my resume to include key skills to no avail. Already set my LinkedIn profile to looking for opportunities a couple of days ago. I was wondering if it would be better to just apply to jobs directly through company websites or hitting up recruiters on LinkedIn. I'm looking for opportunities at companies such as Apple, LinkedIn, Meta, Salesforce,...Read more
Nvidia doesn't pay anything, promos look slow. How many of you regret choosing hardware engineering instead of software? As a hardware engineer I don't have skills that are much transferable, atleast SDEs can develop their own website and have some business. As a hardware engineer I feel stuck and b...Read more
I applied for a single position on the Nvidia website. It seems that that initial application moved to a declined/inactive state, but now there are 3 others showing in review today I didn't explicitly apply for. Do they scan your application and select other roles they think you'd be a fit for and a...Read more
Have you ever heard of a company called Icuro? The website is full of buzzwords. I had a recruiter call me and said that it involves doing projects for NVIDIA etc and there will be a 3 month unpaid mentor ship program. Looks like a contract company / incubator but don’t know what to think.
I'm curious of this because I've only been in Taiwan for 2 years and I can't find too much data on this. Levels website suggests it's about 3.5mil NTD. I'm from SF so everything is less number-wise, I know that, although the tax is less in Taiwan too. So it kind of balances out the salary difference...Read more
