Tons of politics, resulting in overly competitive toxic teammates. I heard slack had good culture, but maybe not anymore. Senior leadership does not give proper support nor listen to anyone other than C suite. Really top down feel.
What are your favorite features of Slack? Is it really worth it? I've heard of teams loving it, but I'm skeptical of yet another collaboration/chat tool. TIA!
I read this today in yhe MSFT earnings articles. And yet if you enter (y) in teams it doesnt give a thumbs up emojy like every other fucking microsoft thing. WTF?
I have never used Slack, but in my experience with Teams, it has been pretty decent with all its M365 integration. The only problem is that the UI of Teams feels sad. #Slack #Teams #msft

* Slack? (although looking at the executives selling stock every day, maybe retention is bad?) * Zoom? (there's probably not much long-term lock-in though) * Uber? Lyft? (I'm not sure if there's much brand loyalty) No idea because I'm a non-user: * Pinterest? * Livongo? * Cloudflare?

They also recently raised $110M Series C from Sequoia, reaching $900MM valuation. Have any of you used this? Will it become somet...Read more

Is Twitter the only company that doesn't or is this commonplace? I think it's kinda crazy Twitter let's users delete tweets but doesn't let their employees delete Slack messages. Heck, Twitter users can even make ephemeral tweets. Also, we can only edit Slack messages for 5 minutes. Maybe this isn...Read more

I'm just curious to know how slack measures activity on its platform? Is Bot sending message or connector sending a TFS notification counted as active user?
I knew it had unlimited potential for applications, but this was fast. AI Copilot in Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Excel and Teams?! Microsoft 365 has ~400 million paid users. Now, all of them are going to have access to generative AI in their daily workflows, powered by OpenAI. Outlook > Gmail? T
